How to Take Care of Yourself

Like most women, you probably rarely take care of yourself in the same way that you take care of others. You feel that prioritizing your needs, however needed would be selfish. Self-nurture that is, caring for yourself and putting yourself amongst your own list of priorities, is not bad. According to mind/body experts, the practice of self-nurture can even treat a host of women’s health problems, especially those that are stress-related.

Buy roses. Buy yourself some roses to brighten up your table.

Have a lunch date. Have a lunch date with friends once a week to keep tracts of what’s happening with their lives.
Inner beauty outer beauty.  Remember that your outer beauty is a reflection of your inner beauty.  When you start caring about your appearance, you begin to take care of your whole being.
Golden sunshine.  Catch that golden sunshine.  Sunshine’s is known to be major mood booster.
Happy moodWhen you’re feeling down about what you see in the mirror, don’t grab that dark gray suit that seem to match your mood perfectly. But put on a bright color to kick you back into gear. Try red, the most energetic color in the spectrum.
Good laugh.  You really can’t help but feels a lift after a good laugh, and a smile is one of your best beauty accessories.  Find your funniest friend or rent a comedy and watch your spirit rise.  Just remember that people who can laugh off their problems or smile at petty misfortunes have an easier time.  Just don’t brood, just laugh enough.
Bad hair day.  If it’s a bad hair day that’s causing you grief, just pull your hair into a neat pony and punctuate it with a nice-looking bow or scarf.  If your hair is short, just comb it back with a strong hold gel and you’re ready to go.
Stop comparing yourself with others.  You feel bad when they tell you of their great jobs; expensive cars and trips abroad.  Just realize that you just mentally torturing yourself with envy.
Live within your means.  Sometimes you have extra money and sometimes, there is hardly enough.  Be practical, if you can’t afford something, don’t long for it.
Live the life you always wanted.  If you don’t want to do something, just decline.  This practice makes you live your life the way you want to.

Take control.  You are the master of the universe.  The controller of your well-being, happiness and health.  It’s very healthy to believe that you, not outside forces are responsible for your health and happiness.
meeting deadlines.  Don’t wait for deadlines to come.  Of course you have to meet deadlines- but don’t wait for them to come.  Give yourself a least 20 percent more time than you think you really need if meeting deadlines is a problem.
Count your blessings.  Make it to a point to count your blessings.
Stress release.  Stress is a bug that gives degenerative effects on the body.  Find a quiet place, close your eyes and concentrate on a word or a sound.  The after-effect can be quiet enhancing.
Be beautiful.  Feel beautiful all the way down to your feet with an at-home tune up.  Give those tired toes a soothing soak.  Try some nail polish.
Take a bath.  Taking a warm bath or shower can be so much more than just a skin washing endeavor.  Bathing even a few minutes in warm water stimulates circulation, waking up your entire system.  It opens your pores, drawing out sweat and toxins, and restores a smoother, clearer, glowing finish to skin.  From a whole host of products from scented bath to body creams and mists and candles enable you to transform your bath time session into a small, rejuvenating pleasures.
